What's your favorite trail camera?

I have a stealth cam I-540 IR. At first it seemed sensitive to how it was set up but I have it figured out now so it takes some nice pictures...

I think it's a badger, but I've never seen one in real life.

Those are good pictures.

That's cool. I've never seen one of those in real life either.

Moultrie I 60. It's an infrared camera. I put the camera out in May and still haven't had to change batteries. Here's a couple of day/night pictures. MI VHNTR

I have several of the Moultries and they have served me well. Battery life is amazing. I have been looking hard at the Bushnell Trophy cams as well. I like the idea of the smaller size and have heard the trigger speed is pretty fast. The Moultries are hard to beat for the money.

I have used Moultrie in the past but had many problems with them. My I40 crapped out on me a month after my warranty ended. I then started using Stealth Cam I540 IR and really like the pictures and the detection. It does have a slow trigger speed though. The price is really affordable. If you are going to use it on bait it is very good. If you are going to use it on a trail you may to go with a Cuddeback Capture which has a pretty good trigger.

The best trail camera is one that you make yourself. I haven't purchased a commercial camera in over 3 years. Built about 40 of them. I have yet to see a commercial camera match the performance of a homebrew.

My favorite is the one I actually keep from getting stolen,on private land!Havent had one in a while due to theft
