What's your longest coyote confirmed kill?

Don't get to many long shots so mine is only 310 yards. Not the easiest shot though since his afterburners were wide open because two other guys already got two shots each at it. Hit him right in the armpit, if coyotes had armpits.

.260 Rem....Ruger all weather SS.......140 grn rem.bulk bullets handloads

shot witnessed by Mike Williams from Yukon.

I missed one at a something a bit over 350 yards at the PM Annual hunt last year. The next day, at the egg shoot, I figured out my scope was off because I had adjusted it for a different ammo, and had forgot to change it back. That is the farthest poke I have taken at one. My other shots are usually within 200 yards, even here in the wide open west. I even go out to set up looking for longer shots, but I must do something wrong since I don't usually get them.

464 yards with my 6x47 lapua. Shooting 105 berger VLD's. I'm on the lookout for a 700-800 yarder

I was never actually able to measure the distance but it was a gyp and she had a litter, got them weaned and was breeding again between the trigger squeeze and bullet impact.

425 yds 22-250 45 grn jhp I was on a hill about 50ft above him and he came out of a fog bank in the pasture below and looked right at me. I aimed at the top of his head and hit him in the chest he let out a yip and did a backflip checked distance with laser range finder from his location to the tree I was sitting under

Just over 700 yards with 6.5-308 Imp. (35 degree shoulder) XP-100 rifle in West Texas in the winter with snow on the ground. Using the 140 grain SMK. Snow turned red.

538yds, 110gr Vmax, Remington 700 PSS .308, USO ST-10. It's exactly 538 yards from my "stand" to the treeline directly across a food plot on a high fence exotic game ranch that I keep the coyotes in check on, or atleast I try to. There are coyotes at the food plot every morning watching does with fawns. They absolutely will not cross the food plot regardless of what sound I throw at them. They just sit there and wait for a fawn to get a little distance from momma. I've made that shot 4-5 times now.

520 yards .223 with 53gr Hornady Superformance and a Trijicon 5x20x50 scope. J P Rifles custom AR and I was laying prone. PossumAl shot first and killed it's mate at 465 yards (BogPodTriPod) and when he did the male coyote took off and just before he got back in the cover he stopped (520 yds) for that one last look back and that was his last mistake. He was barking and raising [beeep] until the projectile hit him dead center in the chest. I have killed several at 300-400 and have missed several more at long distances. Most my shots are 50-150 yards and easy to make.

427 yards with the 22-250, 55gr Hornady SP handloads. Was hunting a river bank I knew they were running like crazy. Saw the dog comming from twice that distance. Got to the 427 mark and sat down straight away directly facing me....not sure why...but glad she sat down! Put the crosshairs on the center of her forehead and landed up centering the chest,..rolled her right on her back...she did the crappie for a few seconds and nighty night.

I'm think it was 200-250 yards out in our Ridge Field, there was a Young Coyote walking the edge of our food plot,I tried a few distress calls and some barking but he wouldn't respond? He would pace back and forth then sit down in the short grass...I finally decided to rest my CZ .204 on the shooting rail and the butt end on the fold up seat to steady it even more.He stood up...I turned the Leupold scope on high power pushed the trigger forward on the lighter pull, aimed on his shoulder "Bang" he dropped right there with 1 entrance hole and no exit hole using Federal loaded 39 grain Sierra Blitz Kings!
