What's Your Trigger Pull Weight?

It is raining in South Texas this weekend, so I borrowed a trigger pull gauge. It's a RCBS 09450 that goes up to 72 oz. Here's a sampling of what I measured:

[*]Ruger 10/77 w/ Volquartsen trigger 28 oz
[*]Ruger M77 Mk II w/ Rifle Basix 32 oz [*]Remington 7400 w/ modified trigger 32 oz [*]Colt Python (single action) 48 oz [*]Ruger Govt Target 52 oz [*]Beretta 87T 56 oz [*]Ruger Mk I 62 oz
All my DA pistols were over the 72 oz max of the gauge.

What are your preferred pull weights for
[*]Single Action Pistol [*]Target rifle [*]Hunting rifle [*]Other?
My single action pistol's (BlackHawks) are right at 2#'s.

I set my factory rem triggers to 2.5-3#'s.

A few Timney's, and RB's, are set at about 1.5#'s.

Heaviest is my Remmy 700 w/ Jewell trigger at 16 oz.

All the others are at 8-10 oz.

For my Deer hunting rifles, I have them all set at 16 ounces.
I like lighter weights for my target rifles, and Varmint rifles too.
They are all safe triggers too. I do my own trigger jobs.

My predator and deer rifes are set at 2 lbs with the long range deer rifle set at 1 lb.

P.dog and squirrel rifles all have 2 oz triggers in them.
