Guys,
Does anyone have a good place to buy the plastic 20 or 50
round rifle cartridge boxes at a good price? Just loaded 50 rounds and realized I have nowhere to go with them,

Honestly I usually order a "lot" of them from e-bay at a very reasonable price. I have purchased from local gun stores in a pinch but I dont mind waiting 7-10 days to save $100.

Heck, 50 round boxes are cheap. Only about $4 with the hinged lid. You could buy them from Midway, but the shipping is as much as the boxes.

Check the E-Bay prices against those at Midway Arms...Midway is usually where I get mine if I'm ordering $25+ in merch...

Another option for cheap ammo storage are the cardboard boxes with the styrofoam inserts. You can get them from Midway for about $13 for 25 boxes.

I use these mainly for 223 Rem., where I will be loading 1000's of rounds. They are sturdy, cheap and reusable. I print Avery labels with load data, and stick it to the box.

+2 On that....I have ordered them for $3.00 a peice for a 50 round box.

Midway USA is where I get mine from. Just make sure you get the "real" hinged lid as opposed to the bent plastic. If you read the reviews you will pick up alot. The hinged ones will last forever.

The bent plastic ones are fine as long as you don't use them in extreme cold. I have many that are fine after 30 years being used down to 30 degrees.

I have found the non see through blue boxes from Dillon to be better plastic that lasts longer for me than the mgm see through boxes. Cheap too. Four bucks or less per box iirc.
