trying to get my first turkey, but not sure where to start. Never tried and im really interested. I can look up most of the info on calling, camo, shot sizes, decoys and whatnot. I just need help on where. I have no idea where would be my best shot for my first turkey in southern california. anybody got any tips?

I haven't been there in years, but the Henshaw and Cuyamaca areas used to hold some pretty good populations.

thats what i was thinking. someone was telling me palomar mountains and around mt laguna were good too.

I have a friend that lives down there. She told me she sees them around Mt. Laguna too. There are other areas, but I can't remember them off hand.
