Which Ammo?

Well I went for it and bought the S&W 500. I pick it up on Thursday. Cabelas offers 300gr,350gr,and 400gr hollow points. Would any of these rounds make a nice all purpose round for hunting elk,mule deer, whitetails,antelope,and hogs, or am I gonna have to change it up a little? Are hollow points even any good for hunting at all? I've got alot to learn before elk season gets here!
