Which bore scope

I'm kicking around the idea of purchasing a bore scope, problem is I don't know where to start. I was hoping to get some insight as to what's a good scope and which ones I should stay away from.
Price is some what of a consideration, so if you could attach a price to certain brands it would be helpful.

Thanks in advance.

P.S. I don't need one, just thought it may be nice to own one.

I have a Hawkeye slim, and have had the Lyman but sold it.
I got the Lyman because for the ability to capture the image of the bore on a SD card, for the money I guess the Lyman is ok but I'm spoiled by the Hawkeye, plus I have a few .17 cal rifles and like was already said the Lyman doesn't do .17's.
The Hawkeye is around $800 vs $200 for the Lyman

I have a hawkeye borescope kit as well as the lyman scope.
The lyman is easy to use/set up and watching the bore via the screen is fairly quick viewing.
My hawkeye is used after I run the lyman for amy issues I need to look closer at.

I have the Lyman, and they have come down in price quite a bit
since purchasing.

It works great with my smaller bores from .204 to 7mm, but gets
a little fuzzy on .451 and .458's. It still gives good optical
info if I move the lens a little closer to the lands and
grooves....same with chambers.

Just know that a bore scope isn't going to tell you the
accuracy of the barrel by how smooth it is. I have a RAP in
.204R which has no apparent flaws at all, but it isn't as
accurate as a Savage 12 in .22-250 which has quite a few
apparent flaws.

If you decide to go with the Hawkeye from Gradient Lens be aware they offer two models...one includes the lockable metal case and the other comes in a cardboard container filled with precut foam....the case set is a good deal more $$....last I check you save about $100 buying it without the metal case.
