Which Video?

If I were to buy ONE video for a buddy that is interested in Predator Hunting, which ONE would you recommend? /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused1.gif

This might get out of control, because I realize that there are tons of good videos out there. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif

I am looking for one that would be beneficial to a fairly new/amatuer Predator Hunter. Instructional, Good Quality, and Good Kills.

Many of you have quite a collection of Predator Hunting videos. Which one would you recommend?

My buddy is a Catholic Priest, so no foul language. (Just Kidding) /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif(He is not a Priest, he's not even Catholic)

Rooooooster

Second to the Byron South series, any of them would be beneficial. However the majority of Byron's hunts occur in timber land and are pretty close action. If you want to learn some meathods for hunting open country try Randy Anderson or Predator Quest.

I would go with any of the "Coming to the call" videos of Byron's or don't forget Jeff and Todd's " Texas Predator Pursuit" I or II. I have picked up good tide bits from either of these choices.

Good luck!

Scott

I would go with Les Johnson's new video coming out "Best of the Quest". It is going to be over 50 kills with informational tips throught. It is exciting and will keep you on the edge of your seat.

They've all got strong points and weak points. Add Op 3 on to whatever you buy just because it's both excellent and cheap! Ops 1, 2, and 3 would be a GREAT gift for a new guy, lots of hunts, and good diverse tips. Randy Anderson and Byron South in my opinion are both excellent, equal but different. You're right between them geographically, so, those 2 are a toss-up! Les Johnson's Predator Quest is a very fun disc. Probably towards the top on my list. Long on hunts, but not a wide range of tips or country for a new guy. Any of the dvd's mentioned will likely be very well recieved. They're all similar, and all different at the same time.

Only ONE video ? Where's the fun in that ? /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/tongue.gif Like rainshadow1 has said, they all have their own strong and weak features. I am sure any of those mentioned in this thread would be enough to pique his interest in predators.
