Sagebrush, you seem to be a very smart fella. Always expect the unexpected when predator hunting that's for sure. For the most part coyotes come in down wind, what percentage I don't know, but way more the 50% of the time. To me it would be wise to pay most of your attention in that direction. I did say unexpected and that happens they can come from any direction. There is no such a thing as an expert in this sport, we are all giving our opinions.
