Lucas is a copy of Neil Jones, and if you want to protect the throat from rod wear, then use one of the two above bore guides.

They never wear out and all the rest are much lesser quality.
These two custom bore guides have a bushing that fits on the rod that centers the rod in the bore guide, thus centering the rod in the bore....cleaning rod does not rub the throat. They also have an O ring that seals of fluids from getting in the action area. Handle is adjustable to fit in the bolt inlet of the stock, thus locking the rod guide firmly in place.
