I have both, an older WT and an FX5 as well as a FOXPRO Fury.
The WT is capable of very high volume as it only has a horn speaker, though I had to cover mine with tape to "dampen" the the "rattle". Mine is cumbersome as the large speaker is separate from the "guts". Newer models are an integrated package and should be less cumbersome.
The remote on mine works out past a mile. That won't hold true on newer models, they used to make them with what was apparently FCC rules violating (but superior) technology.
All of their sounds are high quality.
On mine you only have the (large/heavy) rechargeable battery, though it does last easily for more than a day of calling.
Customer service is spotty. I've had to send mine in, and got it back fixed, but not in anything like a "timely" manner.
Your FOXPRO will allow you to load whatever sounds you like on it in addition to the proprietary FOXPRO sounds.
I have some of the older FOXPRO sounds that aren't all that great, but any of their new 22 bit sounds are as good or better as any in the industry.
The TX500 remote is by far the easiest to use and the most versatile remote I've ever used. I could write a review on the remote alone, it's truly incredible.
The FOXPRO allows for either a loud and very convenient caller, or by plugging in a horn speaker, an extremely loud (but not so convenient) package.
My FOXPRO's battery life leaves a lot to be desired, especially if using both integral speakers or an external horn. The good thing is that it uses commonly available batteries that are easily changed.
Should you need it, FOXPRO's customer service is the best there is...period.
The verdict?
I occasionally deliberately try for very long range coyotes, dropping off the caller beside a 2 track and then driving a half mile or more away to set up. When I make this type of stand I use my WT with the long range remote (this wouldn't work with newer models).
In all other setups I use my FOXPRO.
