Winchester 6.5 Creedmoor Brass ?

I have been hearing bad stuff about Winchester brand brass! Had a dealer put me on call list for some hard to get brass. He called and told me that a guy sent his Winchester brass back to him. The brass had some bad with splits and just plain bad quality. I don't even give this brand a look anymore. On this forum I hear how Winchester brass is of such bad quality anymore. Sad that a company with such a stellar reputation would put out such a poor product?? Rudy

people look down their noses at federal, but it is not as bad as everyone says. Winchester used to be good stuff, but the last new winchester I bought about 10 or 12 years ago had about 1 in 50 that would not fit in a shell holder. Also had neck pleats on a couple.
Nowadays, I use range brass. Sorted by headstamp, it is once fired and I have had good luck with it. And it is cheap (free).

I been using Hornady brass without any problems and its easy to find. I bought two bags of Winchester 25-06 and several cases in both bags were scraped.

.. +1 .. on the Starline.
Its heavier like Lapua, not lighter like Hornady.
Tried a box of 6.5CM, just takes less powder (~0.3 gn) than used in Hornady for same FPS.
