While I'm probably not going to be the diehard bird hunter as you Ghostman, in talking with breeders and owners the Griffon was the best choice for my family.  Hopefully he will prove to be a good hunter for my application and thats all I can ask.  I'm not looking to have a champion dog that hunts 60 days a year.  Just one that will be a great companion with the family, a reliable dog on birds and one that can track a deer while having fun. As mentioned in my above post the DD has been known to tear into more than one cat while WPG shouldn't have that issue.  And while I can keep a happy wife I will have a happy life which will result in more days I can make it out with my step son and friends.
