World predator and Hunting Expo info

Hi you-all; I have been looking all over the site for info on the world predator and hunting expo this August in Kansas. No luck, couldn't find anything. So I did a google search and found out all the info. Here's a link to the main site.

I just got off the phone with Brent. Rumor is ABSOLUTELY NOT TRUE.

Things are going strong as planned, will be great time in August.

Matter of fact... lots of guys from the OPHA(Oklahoma Predator Hunters Association) are planning to be there, some are even talking about a carpool! Come on up and visit us!

I understand there are some serious bucks to be made by the winner of the calling contest! I hope the judges are selected for their predator calling experience, and not for their political connection/possibilities.

With that said, who would be interested in a little "Calcutta" once we get a list of the contestants?
 
you should go. i've met alot of the people at our predatormaster's hunt. you will learn alot. then you will really get the fever.Rick
 
I think its going to be very successful, despite gas prices. Im driving about 6 hours to get there and bringing my family.
 
I plan on attending, I have about an 8 hour drive to get there but it will be worth it if I learn some new tricks and maybe get some cool new stuff /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif
 
You guys think you have a long drive ahead of you....I'll be on the road for about 45 minutes.HAHA just kidding you guys are pretty committed to drive 6 hours or more to the expo. the way gas is i dont think i could do it if i didnt live so close. good luck with the drive when the time comes and hope to see everyone there.
 
OK I got all the info, thanks for the help. Guess I didn't see it cause it didn't just jump out at me (lol)

So I'm going and really looking forward to it. Looked at the cost of pulling my RV up there from Florida, then just driving and staying in the motels. Finally figured it out that it will be cheaper to just fly up and stay in the hotel at the expo. So have reserved a room and need someone to share it with. So if one of you all is going and want to share a room, please contact me. Cya there. Look for a great big guy with a bright shirt on a scooter. OB
 
I will be there for sure. Cant miss out on something like this if you love predator hunting. The seminars are what I am going for. That and what ever free stuff I can pocket.

Where is the list of contest callers?

We will do our best to make sure there are top of the line judges! Are you intersted is judging? PM me if your are, I am putting the list togeather now.

There wont be a list of contestants calling up till after the cut off. The cutt off is two weeks before the contest. We have some very good callers signed up! Should be a very good time and some very good calling!!!!!!!!!!!!!

since going to the predatormaster's hunt last two year's and the oklahoma hunt. i have heard some very good caller's. crapshoot got it down. in oklahoma i heard Arky, Tony Tebbe , cat daddy cold and Jim pup mcgill. awsome caller's. would like to here Higgin's and son. your a great caller yourslf. cool seeing the different style's. that's why i came up with a 1/2 inch toneboard's. those smaller call's sound great.
