WWII Airplane Graveyard In Pacific

For those planes, as soon as they hit the ocean floor the world came to a stand still... unaware of the life and times that have went on without them... Its a completely different world from what they would remember...some of the terrain features may look the same , however the human race... I am not so sure of... In many ways we have regressed...
 
Very true, heck I been here all along and I don't recognize it very often. I get an eerie feeling looking at these pics, can't help but wonder what happened to the pilots.
 
I am sure a lot of the pilots became one with the sea... Some of the planes are still in one piece... If they fell from the sky they would be in many pieces... Those are the ones most likely pushed off the deck of a carrier when the war ended...
 
There is a grave yard of huey helicopters in the south china sea off Vietnam. New a navy guy who pushed them off with a fork lift. The huey cost the military 250K and you would think it would have been wise to bring back some that were flyable. Not this government.
