X-terminator powder and heavy 223 bullets

Anyone running this powder with heavier 223 projectiles? Trying to find a powder that will meter well in a Dillon powder measure and having a hard time finding a load with this powder and 68gr hornady hp bullets.

My dad used to shoot 77gr SMK's with AA2230 with very good success. The two powders are similar, but not the same.

Have you had good luck with another type of powder with those bullets? Have you had good luck with those bullets in any rifle?

If somebody says that they shoot that same combo with XX.X grains and get MOA all day, what does that do for you?

I shoot the 75's with H4895.

It does not meter the best through a powder measure.

I wonder how W748 would work with the 68's. I have had good luck with W748, WSR primers and SMK 69's in the past. Seems powder charge was in the mid to high 25's?

I run 2230 with 62gr Speer's great combo for me.

Try TAC ..... is used by some NRA hipower shooters for heavier bullets in 223/5.56...
i use xterminator for 40-55 gr loads in 223 &222..... I use TAC for most of my 204 shooting and 69 gr 223 load....
both meter great and shoot clean without much powder residue... both make accurate loads...

I am using Ramshot Xterminator (Same as Accurate 2230) in my AR .

Sierra 65 gr Game King - This is an excellent bullet for use on pigs in the 150# or less category (my main target).

24.5 Gr Xterminator
Rem 71/2 primer or S&B SR
Federal LC Brass

This ball powder is very fine and once my measure is set I only rarely see variations greater than 0.1 grains . I check every 10th round.

Im shooting 87 gr in 25/45 and using Exterminator. I dont know how fast.

Sharps says that they get the fastest bullets w/ Exterminator.
