Has anyone mounted the XLR 250 above a 50mm scope? IF so HOW? THe standard supplied mount doesnt seem to allow the bell of the light to clear the bell of the scope, and when to the rear of the scope, the light wont clear the turrets?

I LOVE the light, if Ican get it mounted.

Also, I am opposed to mounting it onthe barrel for fear of POI changing when the light is not on the gun.

Thanks for any help / suggestions.

buy 2 high weaver rings...get 2 weaver scope bases the same..screw them together back to back...one scope ring upside down on the scope...one on the light..the weaver base block between the two

Place the standard mount on the scope with the picitiney rails to the top. Then take the scope ring off of the supplied barrel mount and place it on the light. Now take the light in the ring and mount it on the picitiney rail on the standard mount. This will give you an additional 1" of height. If these directions are not clear please pm me and ill help you out.

I found a small plastic bottle with a snap on lid that fit the empty hole. Painted it flat black and put a spare battery in it. Now it looks like a spare battery holder!

Maybe you should try asking, then you'd know.
