Just getting started and wondering if any WV or eastern Va hunters are having much luck with the coyotes and the tactics they are using if so. Merry Christmas fellow enthusiasts!!!!

G,
Hey neighbor I live just outside of Morgantown. No luck yet other than I'm seeing them more often than before, naturally always unarmed.Do you folks have many down your way?I was in Lewisburg in Oct.at McHales Cattle Sale at the State Fair Grounds, your area really looks good for hunting.
I'm leaving Christmas night to go Wild Boar/Bear hunting in Boone Co. theres lots of coyotes there.I'll bust one if I get the chance.Have a Merry Christmas!!! possum

Hey possum, I used to help fit the McHales cattle at Jacksons Mill when I was younger. I was out of town for there sale at the fairgrounds but I am friends of there.. Small world eyh?? Well, there are a lot of coyote sightings around here and there are a lot of foxes so I am looking forward to getting after them. My caller is to arrive on the 26th so I am anxious. Good luck with the boars. Later..

G,
It sure is a small world,we also show at the Mill.Well my daughters show at the Mill.My oldest daughter bought what was alot of opinions thought was the best heifer there out of Cub and their Walks That Walk cow she was Lot 4D.If all goes well we will be showing her at the State Fair this coming summer.Look us up our name is Straight.
Oh this is the preadator forum not show cattle,oh well!!!
I think I'm going to try some calling while in Boone Co. there sure is lots of sign there. And pig hunting is about 1 in a 1000,but theres a decent chance at a Bear.I'm hopeing for the best,it sounds like we will be getting some tracking snow too.You just never know what to expect there.Have a Merry Christmas...possum
