Youth Model 17 HMR?

Does anyone know of a bolt action youth model 17 HMR. I have looked at the Ruger American Rimfire Compact, but it is out of my price range at $329. I also have thought about cutting the stock down on one as well, but am unsure if the synthetic stock would be hollow inside the buttstock. Thank you!
 
Just about guarantee the plastic stock is hollow. Walmart has a Savage 17HMR with a wood stock for $199. You could cut it down for sure. But its a heavy barrel. Not sure thats what your looking for.
