Here is a Zebra Wood Bite Reed Distress call I just finished up. I think I have more time in the finish on this call then any call I have built to date. It came out real nice, satin, lots of coats, finished inside and out, and waxed up slick.

I struggle with finish on Zebra Wood and I am not quite sure why, other then I am Zebra Wood challenged!

It comes with a standard .14 thick mylar reed and a less raspy .10 thick reed that can be switched out in no time.

An $18 bill will land this call on your lanyard, check, cash, or Pay Pal all work for me.

Thanks for lookin

I hear you brother. Zebra is a pain to get a nice finish on. This one looks like you got her though. I like the design of the bite reed assy you are using. Mine are a tapered fit and a pain to get right. Sharp call buddy,R.J.

Those bite reeds I get are tapered also. I chuck them up in the lathe and turn them to fit each call body, I could not get the taper right. I guess I am glad to hear someone else has trouble getting a finish on Zebra, thanks for the comments RJ
