Anyone ran both ?
That's degree of cant up & down, it'll swing 360 if you want.Isn’t the leveling bowl head limited to 15 degrees left and 15 degrees right ?
If so that’s a deal breaker for me as when hunting with a partner one is lookin 180 degrees from the other . Dont want to have to move the tripod .

That Levitate leveling head looks very good. I have a Two vets Recon tripod, do you know if it would work with the two vets?As Al stated it goes 360 horizontal.
Guys that are new seem to worry about the vertical travel and its never once been an issue for me and my stuff goes to the Rockies every year. Michigan doesn't have anything that would cause a travel issue and it will be much more stable.
The only place I would recommend a ball head was if you lived in WV, eastern KY., Pa and similar topography and hunted short but steep terrain every single stand.

Agreed. I used to run a leveling head and it was not more stable than my Anvil-30, in fact the adjustment range on the Anvil is superior.I use the RRS anvil 30. No need for me to try anymore !
