Has anybody seen one and if so what did you think of it. What I saw online looked pretty nice.

From what I have seen, I would have no reservations. I run a Rattler 35-384 v1, and it is solid. I also run an Adder TS50-384, also solid. The v2 has some nice upgrades. Very capable scopes.

I have the Rattler TS25 384 (v1 I assume) that has a 1.5x magnification. Have taken a few coyotes at 60 yards, and one at 90 over a bait site. Great scope in my opinion, especially considering the price point.

35/640 V2 is fine. Depth of field focus isn't real great but OK. Got a coyote Fri nite with mine. Dumped halves of bad watermelon in the field in the afternoon, saw the yote watching for a snack (80or so yds) about 9PM. Took a couple shots as I was sitting on the ATV. No moon night. This is shot record pic, not as clear as realtime view.

I had 4 rattlers all v1. Problems with all of them. One was a " new" replacement for one that had poi shift. The new replacement had someone else's videos on it. It also had poi shift. Clearly was returned by someone else. I'm sure v2s are better. I had a varmint lrf, it was OK. Taipan was good.

Some interesting takes on this. I got Rattler TS35 640 as a back up and used as a scanner. To be honest I hated it compared to the iRay Bolt I was using.
Bought a Ruger SFAR and decided maybe I didn’t like the AGM because I hadn’t really played with it other than turning it on and just using it. I put it on the SFAR and took it outside in the yard one night and decided to play with it. I had to look at the instructions a few times to figure out the buttons, but by the time I got done I had that joker set up as clear as the iRay.
I went and sighted it in and been using it ever since. To be honest if I go to buy another, it will be a coin flip between another iRay or AGM, but I’d probably lean towards a V2 version of the AGM.

V2 uses a replaceable battery pack, comes with 2 and each easily lasts a nite. Has a lot more settings also, sharpness is one I need to play with. Manual nuking you hold the button vs press - silly, needs to be the other way around.

You brought up the only issue I had with the V1…batteries. I now have 12 of those always charged and ready, lol. My older batteries I may get 2.5hrs out of, but these newer batteries I have I’m getting 3.5 - 4 hours out of. With 12 I can easily stay out all night if needed and the chargers are USB. I’ve heard from others that the battery packs with the V2 are the ticket! Like mentioned, they can stay out all night if they want.

Last winter when it was below freezing I could start hunting before 6 PM and hunt until around 4 AM, until I had to utilize the spare battery pack on the rattler V2. Now, with shorter, warmer nights I can hunt all night on one battery pack. I have nothing negative to say about the rattler V2. I just started hunting with the Varmint V2 LRF, it takes one 18650 battery - The LRF will not work when the power gets down to 25%.

I use my V1 as a scanner, V2 on the rifle. CR123 in the V1 last as long as I do, for one night. Just notied both have new SW build available. I don't do sound/video or wifi so batteries last longer.
