Ok, not sure if this is where I could post something like this, but wanted to give a shout-out to my granddaughter.
Congrats to Miss Ellie Jane Kite on being crowned Tiny Miss in the Georgia Peanut Pageant. I was even more surprised when during her walk on stage it was announced she was “sponsored” by her “Papa and Granny”…I’m Papa, lol. When I looked at “granny” I got a sly “whoops” smile!! The last pic is my son, Miss Ellie, and my daughter-in-law.

You got that right, I still remember holding my son (pictured) on my chest the day he was born. His head tucked under my chin and his feet didn’t quite reach my waist.
Seems like yesterday Ellie was born and she’s already 3.

Yeah, and an Uncle that’s only 9 so if some boy breaks her heart I really feel sorry for him. CJ loves her like she was his sister and like he says, “I can pick on her, we can fight, I can make fun of her, but NO ONE else can!” He’s a guardian when we’re watching her and his friends are over. They all know to treat Ellie Jane with respect. But just because she’s a “girl” they toughen her up a little. She calls them her “Isahood” brothers. (We live in a little community called Isabella, hence the name “Isahood”)
Her daddy (my son) works and lives on a Plantation and he has the only girl child out of the workers, so she’s spoiled rotten out there when she shows up to work with her Daddy.
