Few yotes down

Don’t you have shot activated recoil? On some stands if I got that feeling I start recording as soon as I start calling. A lot of time I point right where I expect them to come from, I also go back and watch footage and there are times I have recordings of coyotes I never saw.

Yes but it is not all that great. I tried it once maybe I need to revisit it but my experience was horrible. I time I used it I missed a broadside chip shot at 80 yards. Still to this day I don’t understand. However on the 4th follow up shot it recorded my best shot ever. 420 while running. Yes I know it was luck, but was still a dead yote in a sheep pasture. After that few more stands I had several sessions of recordings that were nothing, activated by driving. Took me a while to figure that one out. I also have had some issues with the scope function when I have too much stored memory on the scope. As once deleted problems seem to be deleted too. Long as I keep the memory down no issues.

Enjoyed the video, music too.
Thank you, I have been a Paul Rodgers fan since his time in the band Free. Then of course Bad Company and his solo stuff. He is one of the greatest vocalist of all time in my opinion. Plus that particular song just seemed like it belonged back in the old western times. Well now I’m rambling but is one of my favorite songs since it was released.

You're a "bad man" on the trigger, impressed!
I wanted to add something to that comment. I’m kinda a trigger snob. I’m very biased towards tigger tech triggers. I know there are other great triggers out there. I’ve used a bunch but always return to TT. All that said one of the issues I’ve had is their reset I often don’t give it enough travel for reset then I’m wondering why it won’t fire. I don’t seem to have that trouble with a trigger that has a noticeable travel reset. I’ve caught this in several of my videos. I typically loose myself and zone into the mission at hand. That reset or lack of often pulls me out of that zone. The bothersome part is if it was a life or death situation, would that second of mental reset be costly.

the only issues I have had with shot-activated recoil was with RIX Optics. It would not recognize every shot and then having it on would corrupt other recordings. But yeah, I am with you. sometimes things happen fast and you dont have time to hit record. I have had times where I have coyotes coming in and i go to hit recoed but instend hit the power button shutting down the scope, its a bad feeling watching a coyote come in as your scope starts the count down to shut off

Jeremy, in a weird way, you just made me feel a little better about myself! Thank you!

What I do to accentuate desired buttons on my scope and remote is to add either 2-part epoxy or silicone to the buttons I want to find making them higher than the others. Even works with gloves.
Be sure you clean the surface with alcohol or a quick wipe of lacquer thinner first and don't let the material 'stray' off the rubber of the buttons.
almost forgot to thank Paul for the vid.

Yes sir it is. I’ve gotten a many of still shots trying to turn on record. Short press long press

That is a really good idea. Thank you for sharing.
