22-250 or .243 ?? Which one to get?

I shot my 22-250 today. It was very windy but I checked my zero at 100yds and was an inch high. I consistently hit a 4" steel at 200 aiming center mass. The wind had very little effect if any if it did it was minimal. I like it because I can hold on fur out to 200 and know my bullet should impact.

ok, i have to get this out of the way first…UARick…Ultimate Adventure Rick?

As to the post, with you having plenty of deer rigs already id opt for a 1:8-1:9 22-250 in your shoes. Med range coyotes shouldn't be a prob, and if wind picks up you can load heavier beans. In az ive heard fur isnt worth a crap, so ultimately there is no wrong answer really. Even here in nodak they really arent worth much. Let us know what you decide tho!

Nope, all the really cool kids have 22 Creedmoors. The 22-250 is no longer the King, hasn’t been for years
I been doing this a long time myself and have always been under the assumption the .223 can't be beat!..???...!!! No wonder I have several configurations.:love::giggle:
