Cal Taylors sounds

I have been using Cals new sounds since he released them. I have had great results with all of them. The Territorial 1 sound with a dominate pair will put them in your lap. The prairie dog sounds have both worked well. I have used them in heavily called areas and they make for a good change up. His other howls have produced good responses to them. They are worth owning to compliment other sounds you already own. Anyone that has been on the fence about them can buy with confidence.

Hey Brent how have you been? Yes Cal’s sounds have been working very well here in Utah too… Still doing control work down in Arizona?

Was able to try out the new sounds Friday night for a few sets.. all 3 sounded very good an crisp to my ears atleast... 1st stand i started out with "where you at", and had what sounded like 2 or 3 coyotes respond back, within few mins is when I caught movement in the scanner I went to the scope to start getting on them but then they appeared to be hung up at that point so I played mfk squeaky squeaky since it was a pre set on my remote and not even thinking to try cals prairie dog sound being focused on trying to kill them (That's when the video started)... 2nd and 3rd stand i didn't see anything but I did get a response out of the territorial sound on the 3rd stand but at a very long distance off..

The prairie dog sounds have been spectacular lately. I've mostly been thermal hunting lately and have killed a pile with both prairie dog versions. And not just this years pups, lots of old wise ones also.

I bought all of the Cal Taylor sounds. They are very clear and crisp. I really like the prairie dog sounds, however I can't say I have called a coyote with it. The coyote sounds have definitely produced. I like to start vocals with the "Where you at" sound and that has produced a response at least 60 percent of the time. Then I will move to " Lonesome Me" and let that go several times. I will say that " wife beater" has generated the loudest and longest responses for me. I've had what has sounded like whole a whole pack yipping and yapping back. I have also had coyotes return, after missing my first shot, to this sound. Finally, if I have a challenge howl I will answer with "Territorial 1" and that almost always gets them to move towards me or answer. Overall, I would buy these again in a heartbeat.

I have his calls and have given them a good chance. They sound good and ok to call yotes in but not a cure all. When I use them I get about 30% of the time I call one in with them.
