Sounds For Solitary Boars

Last time I was in Texas I called in 3 solitary boars at night——2 on rabbit sounds and one on a bird sound. Going back to Texas at the end of January. Besides prey distress are there any hog sounds anyone might recommend?
 
You could search "calling hogs/pigs".
Glenn Guess use to hang out here and there might be some old discussion on calling them using pig vocalisation.

Convergent Hunting Solutions has electronic callers and an APP that has a list with a variety of hog calls. At one time they were affiliated with Glenn Guess and he provided some of the calls in the Wild Hog Pro app. Glenn pretty much introduced hog calling to the hog hunting community several years ago.

I have used it for several years and have successfully called in hogs but it does not always work. I have seen hogs break from a sounder and come in fast from 100 yards away and also have seen some that seem to not react at all.

Several times I have used it in the woods and have had hogs come in downwind which will put them on top of you if you place the call too close.

This looked like a miss but I found the hog about 30 yards away in the woods.......
