Most shots in one day at coyotes? Most shots on a single stand? Most shots on a single coyote?

Back in the day when I had 2 eyes that worked and raised GS Pointers, I had enough trouble hitting grouse with cylinder bore 1-1/4oz of 7-1/2 shot. Ain't NO WAY I am sending a single projectile at a moving target anymore. I got 1 deer with each a rifle and flintlock running many trips around the sun ago before I knew better and have shot at 2 coyotes since this addiction grabbed me and got 1 of them. As many have said-It is just noise after the first, in most cases anyway.
 
Since the 70's I leave the truck(during the day) with 7 rds for my rifle, whether calling,tracking or spot/stalk. Something would be very wrong if I didn't kill every coyote/fox I saw before getting back to the truck. 4 rds in my Remingtons, 3 in my pocket.
 
Personally, when I'm using my AR, I kind of get a kick out of letting the kamikazes just overrun the caller and then hosing them down with .223 while they are running full tilt at close range. It's just fun. Makes my partner laugh out loud every time I do it. Heck, makes me laugh out loud every time I do it. The more shots the merrier.

Bolt gun, really not sure how many shots I've taken in a day. Never many misses, a lot of days no misses. Have killed more than ten in a day by myself a handful of times. So, maybe 15 rounds in a day at most?

Shotgun, I'm a terrible shot with a shotgun. But my Benneli holds a whole buncha TSS rounds and I'm not shy about using however many I have to. I bet I've taken more than 15 shots in a day with a shotgun. And probably only killed 8 or 9.

I shot 16 times with my 223 and 2 times with my shotgun. I can’t think of many days I shot 10 shots at coyotes in a single day. 18 time for 4 coyotes is just embarrassing.

On the second stand I shot at one coyote 7 times and 8 minutes later another coyote showed up that didn’t mind all the shooting. I proceeded to shoot at it 4 times. 11 shots is the most I’ve ever done on a single stand.

The most shots I’ve done on a single coyote was 10 and I didn’t even hit it. The poor shooting was witnessed by a long time friend. An hour earlier I was bragging about how good of a shot I was with my AR10. Even 7 years later he would give me a hard time if I pulled that gun out to kill a coyote.
