Why did FOXPRO discontinue the fox grip ? Looked like a nice feature to me.
Anyone come up with an alternative?

Guess you have never had 4-5 charge in all the way to the call , smell the call and boggie out without getting a shot.
Having the ability to mute the call ,and play a another sound at your fingertips while never taking my eye off the scope is nice.
Sometimes you just guess right . Sometimes doing something different is better than doing nothing at all.Ok but how do you guess what volume or sound to set foxgrip for in that situation? Muting the call is at my fingertips, my left hand has the remote in it, right is on the gun on the tripod. But have been considering getting a tripod leg mounted call holder.
Charging the call is fine, all of my coyotes are sub 200yd anyways. Put crosshairs on coyote and fire. You arent getting a second one unless you can roll it while its running a split second later, because you only have a second before its back in timber.
Yea I found a new fox grip 2 on eBay and Velcro’d it to my forearm.Foxgrip has been an absolute game changer for me. I have mine jury rigged into the larger grip of all 3 of my Tikka rifles. I have it set max volume to TT "Make em Stop". Works 99 percent of the time, they either stop or retreat 5-10 yards and stop. I even have had many get to the call, smell it and start to run off. When I smash the magic button they stop and look back. Truly underrated tool. I had one I bought cheaply from Midway. Had to scour ebay for months and months to find two more.
I won't be buying any of the new 48 series, even though I want to. Foxgrips aren't compatible with the new TX-2000 remotes.
