I am loading up some rounds for a new 22 CM build. I have 69gr TMK's and Hornady 77HP's. For the coyotea I want to start with the 69gr TMK's.

What powder are any of you using or recommend for this, and hopefully loads? I am running Alpha brass

Alot of people swear with varget and the 69. You can google loads and there is a bunch. I run 80 gr sierra with re26. Last year i ran 75 eldm with re26. Love the 22 creed

Ditch the Alpha brass. It runs into pressure way earlier than Hornady or Lapua. For the 69 tmk, if you have a small firing pin or bushed bolt. 39.0gns of varget is the magic number and jump them abou 20-30 thou. This load has worked in several rifles for my calling buddies and myself. I run that load in my 9tw 20" gun and get 3505. My 22"/8tw gun runs the Berger 80.5 at 3393 with 42.2 of H4350 in Lapua brass.

Old thread but I will throw this out there

69TMK from a 26" 7 twist pipe did 3725 fps with 48.3grs RL26. I know better than to trust a 3 shot group but they landed in 3/4" at 400 yards

todbartell2.0, what brass are you using for that 48.3grs RL26 load with the 69TMK's in your 22 creedmoor?
I have a 26" 1in8 twist, but I am currently all Alpha brass - looking to do some load dev with this bullet this summer now.
I've been shooting 41.0 of H4350 with the Hornady 75 ELD-M's at just over 3400. Had them almost to 3500 at one point, but was getting a bit of heavy bolt lift out in the field so backed down to 41.0 which was also the accuracy winner by far in my gun.

Like I say, I'm looking for good loads with the 69TMK's using Alpha LRP brass at the moment. Thanks.

Thumbs up to RL26!!!!!
RL26 is one of my all time favorite powders but unless you already have some finding it isn't very easy and when you do you'd better be prepared to have you heart medication handy because it sells for a crazy amount these days. It was a powder that worked well for me in the things I shot it in right from the get go and I use more RL26 then all other powders combined. Luckily I bought a good amount of it back when it was available at normal prices so I'm in good shape for awhile.

In my 22-243 Improved which only has a little more case capacity then the 22CM RL26 is THE powder. I'm launching 80gr ELD-M's at 3650 and it stacks them up into nice tight little groups. RL26 in those medium to medium large size cases always seems to be good for more velocity then most others without going crazy on pressures to get there.
