Good Ol' Larry

Potterfield that is. I was going to order a couple of bottles of bore cleaner from Midway, that is until I saw what he was charging to ship. Two bottles of Wipe out and the cost was about $26, then he added $16 to ship. I cancelled my order and will just find something local. Maybe I'm wrong but that sounded really high to me. It would have been $42 time I got my hands on it.

Shipping is expensive these days, and only going up . You are in OK, and Midway is in MO. Does not seem that far distance . I pretty sure Midway uses commercial shipping account using UPS FedEx USPS, and get a cut rate, but still you got shipping supplies and paying someone to track customers orders, fill order, print postal labels, and boxing of the items to go out in Postal .
.

I was going to get the Tactical Advantage and the accelerator. No one I know of here in Tulsa stocks it. I tried to get Sports World to stock some but they never did. I don't think Scheels's stocks it either. It's a great solvent and I may just have to suck it up and pay the shipping.

Well, I doubled my order of Tactical Advantage and added a box of 30 caliber SMK bullets and got me over the $100 purchase with free shipping. All of it will get used up sooner or later so I guess all is good and Larry still made some money off of me. LOL!!

That's the way I did it last time. I was able to get it at Brownells one time but they never have it in stock. Scheels doesn't carry it here. Shipping really is expensive but at least you didn't get one bottle for the price of 2.

Ordered it on Friday and received it today. Larry's shipping isn't cheap, but it is fast.
Ordinarily I'd agree, but I ordered from Larry last week, and tracking showed the label was created & USPS waiting on the item for 5 days before finally starting the journey. Most likely USPS at fault though rather than Midway.

I've got a Midway package stuck between St Lewis and Albuquerque for five days now.

Shipping costs have skyrocketed, I took a small priority box to the PO and it was $12+ it wasnt that long ago it was $7, in fact I don't remember anything in between.

USPS has completely screwed up every package incoming and outgoing for the last two months. I sent my son a package he needed with in a week... It had to go 140 miles from Wichita to Manhatten, KS. They sent it to KC, and then they sent it back, they sent it to St. Louis, and then they sent it back. It sat in Wichita for 5 days after that. I took two weeks to get to Manhatten...
