Smart Bucks

I've been living on my new property for five weeks now and been seeing Doe's galore all day long, but no Bucks'. Setup my old trail camera along with a feeder and all the Bucks are nocturnal. I'll wait until next season to see if any of them make the mistake of coming out during legal shooting hours!!!!!!

By the way: The cable jack is broken on the trail camera, so the only way to get the pictures is to take a pic using my cell.

Deer season hasn't been closed long enough for them to forget yet. They'll probably come around a bit more more before deer season next year.

Easy lesson to learn…don’t hunt bait for bucks, especially big bucks! Not late season anyways, lol.

Hunting pressure pushes them to be nocturnal. Hunting pressure causes the supposed October lull too.

Still in Texas. Moved from City to Country... I'm about 3.5 miles off the pave roads!
