Best 640 resolution thermal for the $$

i forgot about saving different profiles. but then again, if you change the lens you have to get into the scopes hardware and change profiles in the field too.

i dont like to complicate things. i dont even like to take my thermal scope off the gun and put a daytime scope on it for groundhogs, then i have to put the thermal back on for night time and hope it held zero.

i think i have to buy another rifle this year :)

Changing the profile in the scope is simple and only requires the push of a couple of buttons. Since you would be changing lens, it should be intuitive to change the profile as soon as the other lens is put on. Operative wording is "should be", but I know that I would forget it at some point. What we really don't know is how much POI is actually involved at this time. I'm interested to see what the test results show when some of you get the scopes with dual lens.

Guys, it’s really simple, the solution would be to buy 3 scopes each with the different lenses, then buy 3 identical rifles and just carry them all to the field. When conditions change just grab the rifle you need. Y’all are trying to complicate things. I’ve found most all my problems go away after buying a new rifle.

I said earlier my problems will start to compound and now along comes Spurchaser fulfilling his role as Chief Enabler!:p

Suppose you were like me and had to buy two of everything. That's how I get permission.

What is the FOV for the 35, 50 & 75 Oneleaf? That 5x for 2k is tempting.

…from their webpage. Couldn’t be much more UN-informative. Inches, feet, yards, meters is your guess. ….and at what distance they are relative is also a mystery.

I'll probably stick with the 50mm for predators and the 35mm for vermin control during the off season on the PCP rifle.
Even if POI doesn't change I won't be changing lenses in the field.
My shipment is said to be arriving on the 27th.
