HEY YOU NEW YAWKERS AN NORTHERN PA GUYS

Ya.. weeks ago negative temps and knee deep snow.
Last weekend still snow and cold but it was so crunchy they'd hear ya a mile away...
And then I hunted last night in a sweatshirt and regular pants...pretty sad when it's 40° and I'm too warm just in a sweatshirt.
 
Supposed to get another 3-4 inches this Sunday morning :/
Stuff just melted off last few days too. Welcome to PA and false spring, went from -10’s to 40+ degrees last week. Now been in 50’s this week. About a 60 degree temp change in just days…gotta love the weather here, 4 seasons in 1 day sometimes.
 
If it's not windy and snowing, it's windy and hailing.
We pushed it hunting in the bad weather and my buddy is sick as a dog now.
I'm going to try and head out by myself and see what I can call in before the next storm arrives Sunday afternoon.
I might take up knitting.

If the weather app is correct, and it hasn’t been close lately, I will be trying to make something happen tonight. Tough going with the ice sheet crust. There won’t be any stealthy approaches, that’s for sure. It should hold up the coyotes though, so hoping that can flip the odds slightly in my favor. MAYBE they will travel a bit further to get to a call and leave the timber?! Gotta try.

The sun has been peeking out of the clouds all morning and the weather people are calling for a foot of snow tomorrow !
Time to get out and see what happens while the weather is mild.
