Jard trigger

I’m thinking of buying a Ruger American Gen ll, and I’m looking to replace the trigger. Does anyone have experience with with the Jard trigger? Are there any other after market trigger manufacturers for the Ruger American?

Not Gen 2 but I have worked the triggers on two Gen 1's I own (ed) buy taking them apart, polishing all mating surfaces including the bolt, then incrementally shortening the spring till I got to 2#. Then I screwed the weight adjustment screw behind the spring in until I got 2-1/2#.
I am cheap and like to 'tinker'.

Thx
Recommend the American?
I would. Mine is plenty accurate and it operates smoothly and as it is supposed to (223 Standard). I won mine in a raffle so I can’t complain any about the price to value comparison. But my opinion on “mass produced” rifles is there are good ones and there can be not so good ones. I think I got a good one.

I have 2 JARD triggers and would buy another if needed. The first one I got need a slight trigger weight adjustment since it would slam fire when testing. Easy to adjust and haven't had any issues with either one.

Only trigger I've ever replaced was on Rem 700 I have, I put a Jewel trigger in it. They are out of business from what I hear now.
