Had one more piece of this Amboyna so figured Id make another enclosed reed call out of it.
This one fought me all the way, tough piece of burl wood. it has a lot of little natural inclusions inside and out. I kinda like that and I dont really try to fill them...its burl wood and its going to have that. Simple oil finish inside and out. Double stainless reed tuned up to a light jack distress.

I agree, Sarge… and that makes it awful hard to resist buying them. I speak from experience as I have an awful lot of hand calls from these folks that turn them out. I have a couple on the way to me now to add to the awful lot of lanyards I have hanging around! Lol… Tracking shows the other hunk of Amboyna that ole’ LONEHOWL turned up and tuned Cottontail should arrive in my mailbox today! 😃
