6 Creedmoor on the way

Just ordered a Savage Core Predator in
6 Creedmoor :)
I already have everything to reload for it.
I actually have some loaded rounds from the
Ruger Predator I just sold. I forgot to order a
Magpul 5 round mag, that 10 rounder just looks obnoxious and will get in the way.
Also need to order another scope.

Please give us an update once you receive it and shoot it. I have a 6 creed now and love it. It's a bench rifle so not ideal for hunting.

I've been wanting to get another 6 creed in a hunting rifle and looked at the one you just bought online. It's hard for me to buy a rifle sight unseen and the core predator is one that I just can't seem to find to handle where i'm at.

I'm in a state where I have to hunt with lead. Barnes makes a 62 grain lead free bullet i'm wanting to develop a load for with the 6 creed. I'm really curious about getting that round to about 3800fps. Pretty much a 22-250 but with a 62 instead of a 50 grain bullet.

I will definitely post updates. I have never handled a Savage Core. So I'm buying sight unseen. But I have owned a few Savages and still have a Hunter in .223
I live in Commiefornia, so I have to hunt with
non-lead.
I have a two loads for the 6 Creed with the 62gr. Barnes Varmint Granade.
These loads shot .5 moa from the Ruger Predator I just sold. PM me and I'll give you the load. Not sure if it is ok to post in the open. one is not a hot load but I think the speed was about 3600 from a 22" barrel.

???You had a Ruger Predator shooting .5 moa and you sold it???

OK, I fully understand that. I tend to do the same thing. My first thought was, what is not to like about a rifle that is economical and shoots .5 moa. Lots of folks spend buckets of cash chasing .5 moa and some never make the grade. Good luck with your next venture!:)
