We sell a bunch of the Vortex Viper PST 1-4 scopes in both the capped and uncapped versions.
The Mueller Optics 1-4 isn't bad but the dot size (4MOA) is a bit big for small targets at a distance. It would be fine for Coyote size targets out to ~250yds or so.
Leupold VX-II is great. I also have a nikon monarch in 1-4 the leupolds glass is way better, and the 1.5x4 power is awesome because you can use it like a red dot... You can get one for under 300$ http://www.midwayusa.com/product/998519/...?cm_vc=wishList
Weaver makes a good 1x3 scope to and its only 179$http://www.midwayusa.com/product/183610/weaver-classic-v-series-rifle-scope-1-3x-20mm-dual-x-reticle-matte
Picked up a Leupold Mark AR Mod 1 1.5x4 with the green firedot ballistic reticle. Very quick and the optics are what you would expect from Leupold. I also have a 3x9 Leupold VXR and it is very similar as far as the clarity/brightness/etc. The Mark AR also came with a ballistic turret matched to 55gr at 3100fps. I am very pleased with the optic and at $399 it was less expensive than another VXR.
I have a Bushnell Trophy XLT 1.5x6x44mm with a 30mm Tube. Mine does not have the illuminated reticle but rather what Bushnell calls their A4 Reticle. SO far I am very pleased with it. On a different AR I had a Bushnell Elite 3200 1.5x4.5x32mm Firefly Riflescope that I also really liked.
