1 Year Old Super Yoter Value?

What would a good price be on a 1 year old Super Yoter with two sets of the extended batteries? I am not that familiar with the Bering Optics values and a friend of mine is wanting to sell his. I am not interested in buying it, but I told him I would ask around and see what he should be able to get out of it. Do the bering Optics have 5 years of warranty? It's only a year old so it should have substantial warranty left. Thanks in advance for your insight as to what it should be worth.

I'd say for one in excellent shape the average price would be $3900 (actual selling price) give or yake a couple hundred. Those units had a 4 year warranty.

G Anderson, for anything that is sold, the comment "it is worth what someone will pay for it applies." I say this not to be sarcastic, but it depends on how interested people can find the thermal. Thermal scopes can be a fairly limited market. I would say besides this site, and the Facebook Group called the Bering Optics Users Facebook group (need to be invited by a member) are some of the better ones to sell or buy used thermals, but buyers might be leery of scammers. The other factor is there are more Bering Super Yoters and Super Hogsters for sale right now because people are selling them to upgrade to the new LRF when it becomes available. Assuming he is selling a 50mm, not a 35 or 25, the price Kino listed is similar to what I would have said but I would have probably say a range of $3,700 to $3,900. I just saw a store demo model (never used outside) listed for 4K.

I think the market is softening a bunch for thermal, even see sales on Pulsar products in stores, online larger drops. This is probably a reflection of the economy in general, and what is coming.

In the states which traditionally have good quality fur, the severe decline in fur prices is making a difference in what people are willing to spend on thermals.

Thanks to all for the information...it is the 50mm...this gives him a "ballpark" to list it at. Appreciate the responses.

There is a fur market? Sad but true.
