10 gauge?

Dont use steel shot...it bounces off of ducks and geese at 50 yards. Steel is junk.

This what I bought a case of in 12 gauge and and have one box of 25 left in 10 gauge. Federal quit making them a few years ago. It was my got coyote load. I dropped yotes where they stood at 65 plus yards with it n my 12 gauge.

I agree, steel shot is junk. The only way steel shot would look good is, if they started making aluminium shot.

Even at ridiculously high speeds steel shot can't compete with the much slower and smaller lead shot.

Look at the penetration distance differences between BBB steel shot, lead BB shot and 12g/cc HW13 BB shot.

From KPY Shotshell Ballistics

BBB steel shot at 1600 fps gets 3.70" of gel penetration at 22.2 yards.
BB lead shot at 1250 fps gets 3.70" of gel penetration at 43.7 yards.
BB HW13 shot at 1250 fps gets 3.70" of gel penetration at 59.3 yards.

Predator ammo is basically obsolete if you don't reload. The only thing I could find currently available is 00 buck by federal with 18 pellets. I wouldn't use 00 buck for anything but close defense. The pellets spread too far out after 25 yards to be consistent. If you buy a 10 find someone to load you lead BB shot. I still have some number four buck federal classic shot. Apparently they discontinued it along with wingshot lead BB.
