11-87 Poll

I've had my 11-87 since '91 and I've never had a problem nor have I ever changed the O-ring. I'll concede and state that I probably need to change it but it feeds and ejects every time I pull the trigger. It's a good gun and one I won't get rid of.

Glad somebody else said it first. Mine still has the original O-ring in it and I bought it before you bought yours. I did buy a couple of spares last year.

I have an 1187 SC Nickel receiver with about 1000 rounds on it. Still has the factoty o-ring on it. My 1100 skeet gun has about 7500-8000 rounds on it and I'm on o-ring #2.

I just wipe the mag tube down with Breakfree CLP and rock and roll. Once a year I change the recoil spring in the stock ($10). One trick I learned to keep any auto working is to really clean the chamber really good after about 500-600 rounds. Seems to work because noe of my Remmy autos (all 12) of them have ever had a FTF.

If your not a claybuster to extreme's, I wouldn't worry!
I kind of cut my teeth on 1100's and 1187's at the start.
Berretta's now!

Thanks for the info!!!
I bought it and took it home and cleaned it real good. Fits like a glove. Haven't shot it yet, can't wait. Thanks again for all the good info, now I know what expect. How much are those green O rings?? And where do you get them?? Thanks Jeff:):):):):):)
