I have not, but from what I understand there is no real improvement in humidity. I really like my Merger aside from the bulk and mediocre performance. Nice big viewing screen.

Nocpix Ace checks the boxes for me, but they are not without their flaws. I went with the 640 res Ace H50R.

1) Image is amazing.
2) My LRF does not work for crap in daylight and seems touch and go in the snow. I couldn't range my pickup at 70 yds in daylight unless i aimed specifically at the tail light
3) The LRF reading and Ballistics hold over has a 60 second timer. They disappear and you need to push buttons to re-range so if a target gets hung up or even just ringing steel...
4) The removeable 18650 does deplete plenty quick.
5) Recoil activated video activates by the vibration from closing the battery latch among other things
6) Recoil activated video capture is a bit odd and non adjustable. It is set at something like 10 seconds prior and 90 after recoil
7) Giant "dot" for ballistics hold over-can use X or + but overall all reticles just seem larger than necessary

I'm gunshy about making another move. I would love a Nocpix S60R but can't justify the move until I have resolution with my H50R I have the funds, but not the justification.

Might try the Rix DBH. I haven't been impressed with the videos but they say it looks much better through the eyepiece. Would move AGM Adder 384 down the road to make room/justify.

My buddy has the H50R and it's been working great, that's why I was choosing the S60R.
He also complained about battery life, but after turning off the RAV and WIFI features it's a lot better.
I was hoping RIX would come out with a 1280 res scope, as my backup L3 scope is the best performing reserve scope I've had to date.

After 3 poi shifting original Trail xp50s, I paid $500 to upgrade to a Trail xp50 2 lrf and from what Im am seeing there really isnt a better package that will kill any more coyotes. Its just been too solid to warrant spending money.

Since my 2025 predator season starts in October I've been squirreling away funds for the S60R.
Two days ago I was informed that there's going to be a proposed IRay/NocPic $1,000 tariff price increase on the S60R coming mid May.
Seems I'm always a day late and a dollar short.

I have played with the S60R and the resolution is crazy impressive. The features on the scope are awesome and the scopes very user friendly, IMO. I only have time behind a AGM 384 for a few months now so my opinion probably sucks. However, the 2x base mag killed it for me. I get the ocular zoom will probably take care of that issue but I’m pretty set on 3x base mag.

I like the scope and features so much that I just bought a H50R the other day. I’m definitely $5,500 plus some tax bias at the moment but I didn’t think the 1280 resolution necessarily blew the 640 out of the water, at least not like I thought it would.

So far the rangefinder seemed to be the weak link on the scope. It was a little spotty on further ranges but I just did the recent update and it seems to be solid so far. The ballistics right now match up exactly with my proven dope so that’s refreshing. I’m planning on taking it out to a Prairie Dog town tomorrow so I’ll have a better report on the scope functions.

I just met a guy that bought two S60R’s and he got a little butt hurt when I told him I didn’t like the 2x base mag haha. Not trying to sway anyone’s opinion but that’s my uneducated thoughts on the those two scopes.
 
Im real close to buying the S60R. The 2x base mag is a concern. From what I understand to get a 1280 resolution thermal to have 3x base mag the lens would need to be near 100mm or 10 micron.

Magnification comparables between the S60R and the H50R. I think this is correct.

S60r
1280 at 2x
640 at 4x
320 at 8x
160 at 16x

H50r
640 at 3x
320 at 6x
160 at 12x

I would say the S60R is better when comparing the magnification step ups. Plus the S60R has a much larger FOV at base mag.

Won't the optical magnifier part with the ACE S60R somewhat or even to a large degree make up for the lower 2X base mag though

That optical magnifier definitely helps a ton. I just got done sighting in my H50R and shooting 100 yard groups was no issue with the base 3 mag and zoomed in with the magnifier. It’s almost cheating haha.

Here’s a quick group from this evenings sighting. Bottom two at my fingers were the two sighters.

Now with some actual trigger time behind the scope, I don’t know that the 2x base mag really is that big of a hindrance. I still stand by my earlier comment that I didn’t think the 1280 res blew the 640 res out of the water. But I also didn’t shoot the 1280 res scope, just looked through it for about 45 ish minutes.

I had my doubts about the 2x base mag, but after watching this video it put all doubts to rest.

At closer ranges on base mag you really don't see the clear difference with higher res scopes, it's when you stretch it out that you have a clear advantage with higher res optics

Got a chance to stretch it out today and the optical magnifier is outstanding. I was hitting steel at 406 yards with no issue.

I did. Here’s the video at 406 yards off a tripod. Held a little wind. The ballistics are spot on and took no tweaking to get on target. This is a 10 in steel plate.

Don’t mind my two year old daughter in the background haha.

It's amazing the precision that's possible with this latest generation. The s60r wasn't out yet when I bought my h50r, nor did I know it was coming out then or I may have waited. It's interesting to hear Duhhh's take on the comparison. Anyway, here's my steel video from 400, 6" plate, mild steel. the 87 vmax almost pokes a hole thru it at that distance lol. I have to add that I believe the rangefinder is 10 yards off on the Ace at this distance as everything else I have shows 392.

That's a heck of a group. I really like the targets they send, they're small enough to not bloom at all. I couldn't find anything like that with a web search, or if I did they were ridiculous priced. Since then I found that a square of orange masking tape works great at 100 yards.

I used to zero at 200, but found that not necessary with the bdc now. It's way easier to get it correct at 100 and environmental conditions aren't as critical. Getting calm enough weather for shooting for zero at 200 is difficult.

Yeah they’re awesome. I’ll definitely stick with a 100 yard zero for this thing.
 
I just might buy the 60 tomorrow. I was pretty leery about the optical zoom, but I haven’t read anything bad about it. I guess the recorded video doesn’t show the zoom of the ocular zoom, but that not a deal breaker.

Time to start shopping…

Shows the magnification effect on-screen. 2x can be 2 to 6 screen pixels which gives better ID and accuracy. Do remember that the on-screen 'picture' is computer modified to fit the high screen resolution. so some 'aliasing' occurs.
Looking the 'other' way, an IR pixel is about 0.5" @100 yds. (as example). Change the lens (base mag) and increasing pixels, that 0.5" can be 'moved' to 3-400 yds. As example, I could see the tail (fuzzy) of the armadillo/possum @ 100 with my 640 Rattler. With the TX60 I should see it nice and sharp.
