.17 Fireball limitations?

one problem with doing an AR is the 3 inch sight height. Also IMO you want accuracy that is always sub .75, I shot a lot of varmints from 20 to 75 yards. having the scope super high above the bore complicates those shots. Also I shoot very small targets. accuracy and not excessive sight height are important factors. you say why shoot stuff that close. well the effects are pretty dramatic often times. besides shooting a rimfire is boring in comparison. Those 2 issues are why I wouldn't do a 17 fireball on an AR. not to mention the brass chucking. There are ways of dealing with that but its still a factor.
For me it's not bad.. I shoot trap and clays, with a really high cheek weld piece. I don't know why for a shotgun you wouldn't want that... only thing I can say that explains that , is, I shoot open eyed..🤷‍♂️

The other 3 are hit or miss depending wear there at in the mag middle
Front nop
But 7 stay put ok and gun work fine
Most of the time I only shoot 1-to3
But have tried a runner or 2 and 8 9 10
Will be iffy

I’ve found pretty much the same on mine. I’ve been using p mags, but haven’t tried any others. It does shoot good though.
