I need some help here guys. Last Christmas, I bought a Marlin 17HMR for the old man that owns the farm I hunt coyotes on. He loves the gunand shoots it often. He bought a cleaning kit for it, but there is no tip for holding a patch. The kit he bought is for cleaning a .17, as well as a .22. It is a Gunmaster Universal Cleaning Kit, Model UGC-76W. Do any of you know where I can find replacement tips for this kit?
Thanks,

I don't like using any rod in my 17hmrs, they're too thin and flex too much. I use a Patchworm on all my hmrs exclusively, I have a nice one piece coated Dewey rod, but quit using it due to the flex. I don't think a brush is necessary in a hmr either, they don't get all that dirty in my experience, after break in you won't see any jacket fouling at all.

I have a Hoppe's 177 air rifle cleaning kit. I use it occasionally, but usually I just use my Patchworm. My Marlin 17V 17HMR does not foul much anyways, and I only clean it every couple hundred shots or if I'm bored. The Patchworm works great, and is easy to store or carry in the field.
