17 rem or 17 fireball

Thanks again for all the help and imput everyone. Waiting for the rifle to arrive, I have gathered up everything to start reloading for it except brass. Anyone have a good place to order some? everyone seems to be out of stock.

17 Rem, bought one today. Been looking for one for awhile and tripped on this one, I just think it has a slite edge for the fact it is a little faster with the heavier bullets.
 
Ty, The Scheels in Coralville Iowa had 200 pieces of .17 Rem brass a couple of weeks ago. Got to believe they would ship it to you. Number is 319/625-9959. Good luck, Dave
 
Finally got the gun in, setup and starting barrel break-in. Will start rolling some bergers this week and hopefully start testing friday and saturday.
 
Ive never shot a 17 rem but I own a heavy barrelled fireball and boy, does this thing shoot. I used it for prarie dogs in south dakota and consistently saw 3 group shots around 1/2 inch. at 4000 ft. per second it gets there in a hurry. Also. I heard that with coyotes, it knocks em down quick and doesnt damage the pelt at all. I dont prarie dog much any more so I'm going to list it soon in the classifieds.If you decide on the FB it would be a great gun.
