17 Remington, 17 Fireball or ?

.17 Rem and never look back. RC is right about having to reload for the .17 Rem. Rem factory ammo is the pits.

The 25 grain Remington/Hornady load shoots great in my LVSF and is a decent fur friendly bullet.
 
3, I am glad to hear that your LVSF shoots the Rem load well. My CZ will shoot about an inch 10-shot group with it but most rifles I have shot this load in was 2" or worse. Another point is your LVSF does not have the vel of a std rifle as you have a shorter barrel.
