17 Remington Vrs 17 Remington Fireball

I would think the majority of people buying a rifle in 17fb are reloader or soon to be reloaders. Because of this I'm hoping teh round will ve loaded correctly and this little round could take off and do very well.

Loaded improperly/factory garbage it will get a bad rep for wounding and go the way of the dodo.

It would be nice to see remington score a hit with this but who knows.

These are the same group that changed the 710 to the 770 and toughted its predecessor as a hero.......
 
If what was said about not being able to shoot the 17 Rem FB out of the Mack IV, and vice versa is true, then I'm done with Remington.

Could they really be that retarded? With Hornady, RCBS, Redding, etc. making dies for the 17 Mach IV, then this will just be another attempt to kill another fine cartridge.

Maybe I'll just wait for Ruger to come out with the 204 Ruger 204 VarTarg. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif
