Other than the Bmag, V semi auto, and browning single shot, is there anyone with a bolt action 17 wsm yet that can shoot?

Winchester 1895 Low Wall maybe....I think that's the Model #? List for $1,495.00 little steep for just shooting a Rim Fire bullet in my opinion!

My dad got one of them but has not shot it yet looks good but the stock would not work to use sights you would need a scope not that most people wouldn't put one on anyway.

The older You get the better it is to use a scope....plus if Your shooting 75-100 yards or further You need something for magnification to see better.Just try shooting that far at a target and see where it's hitting with a smaller Caliber and the .17 WSM makes a very small hole.I used the targets that leave a larger mark so it's viewable from further away....Dirty Bird targets I think?

That's for sure my dad always made use learn to shoot open sites first he always said if you don't teach a kid to shoot that way first they will never learn but yes I would use a scope for sure.

Been seeing a few more heavy barreled stainless ones and my buddy just put an awesome Boyds thumbhole stock on his original Bmag its a huge improvement over the junk it came with.

When ammo gets back I'll probably half to have one.

I saw a Winchester the other day a local store they want $1299.00 but would sell me ammo for $35 a box, I not so politely declined, that was after he tried to sell me bricks of .22 shorts for $80. I told him I didn't need to be scalped

The Savage Heavy barrel SS Bmag is a more accurate gun then the original Bmag. My new model shoots under an inch at 100yds right out of the box with no effort at all. The original took several modifications to get it to group, but was not a real consistent shooter. The stock is still a POS.... I have mine in a Boyds stock.
