The B mag may be a chore for a youngster to close the bolt....it's a cock on close design that does take some force to close. If it was me I'd go with the Ruger, the CZ 455 combo is OK but I'm not overly impressed with mine....yes you can change the barrels but the optics are on the receiver so you need to sight in the rifle each time you swap the barrel so it's not likely you'll be switching them often. The trigger was mediocre at best, I put in a DIP sear and yodave springs which helped but out of the box it wasn't great. The fit and finish is decent but by the time you fix your trigger,buy the overpriced rings for it you'll be in it $600+ deep and it's still only a CZ that's not worth what you'll have into it. I know they have a cult like following but I just don't see it. I'll take a Ruger over a CZ any day of the week, they cost a hair more but you get a nicer rifle. $.02
