There are so many different 18650 batteries out there; I was wandering if anyone could point me in the right direction to pick up a few spares?

Thanks

Not true, it is how long it will last while it is being discharged. Think of it as gallons in a fuel tank.

Or, use a charger that shuts off when the batteries are fully charged.

You can find batteries cheaper on e-bay from Hong Kong, but youll have to wait a month on shipping.

I got those batteries from Gadgettown and they barely fit into my G4, I had to take it completely apart to push them out. They work fine in the headlamp and do run longer than the 2400 that come with the headlamp. Here's some info on the 18650 batteries.

That's what I'm talking about; I don't want batteries that are too tight, too short, etc. I'm sure there are quite a few people around here who have bought batteries that were happy with them, or disappointed. I'm just looking for a link or two to some batteries that people have had success with. Thanks

AW is considered one of the best in the 18650. Lighthound, Going Gear and Battery Junction are all places I've had good success with and the prices are competitive.

They fit in my G4 just fine.

That's odd, they wouldn't fit in my hunting partners G4 either. He actually ripped the plastic casing trying to load the battery. I just measured the G4 opening with a set of calipers and locked it down. I was unable to get the 3000Mah into open end of the caliper yet the 2400Mah slid in fine. Based on this and the chart I listed in my other post I'd consider yourself lucky or maybe worry your battery and light are out of spec
